About
Dekita means “done!”
Dekita (できた) means “done!”, as in done with your accounts.
The clean tick in our logo is that “done!” moment: the expense is logged, the card due is known, and who owes whom is settled.
Why we built it
For most of us in Nepal, money lives in many places at once: cash, two or three banks, eSewa, Khalti, a credit card or two, money lent to a friend, money coming in from abroad. Keeping track means a notebook, a spreadsheet or a lot of remembering.
Dekita keeps all of it in one simple place: rupees in lakh and crore, foreign currency at the Nepal Rastra Bank rate, and a reminder before each card is due.
What we believe
- Simple: a few taps to log, one glance to understand.
- Honest: we don’t claim features we don’t have, and we always show where a rate comes from and its date.
- Your data stays yours: no ads, never sold, export or delete anytime.
Who is behind it
Dekita is run by Prabish Rayamajhi, an individual based in Nepal. The app is in early access and coming soon to Android, with iPhone later.
